A company that has doubled in size over the last two years has introduced their existing 120 staff to brand new offices in Exeter with an innovative singing workshop.

BPA, a world-wide customer service quality monitoring company, who have been trading for 26 years and employ team members speaking 22 native languages who offer mystery shopping and customer service monitoring across the world. The company experienced such rapid growth over the last two years they were split onto two sites whilst bosses searched for suitable premises to house the multi-million pound operation, who work with globally recognisable organisations and brands.

On the day that managing director Alex Bobba picked up the keys for the new offices, 120 employees were taken to view the new 10,800 sq ft premises and to take part in a motivational singing workshop by Kat Brooks, the ‘Music Bird’, culminating in a four-part harmony version of Primal Scream’s ‘Moving On Up’.

Jeff Bardell, head of strategy, BPA, UK said: “What a fantastic day and huge thanks to Kat for getting the two offices singing together in perfect ‘harmony’.  It was a wonderful way to start the next phase of growth for BPA; as a company we have experienced rapid growth over the last two years and, as we bring the two workforces together, we felt it was important that they felt included in the excitement of the move and that they realised they were part of one large team, singing from the same song sheet, literally!

“Despite some initial reservation, it takes a lot of courage to stand up and sing in front of your colleagues, I know the team ended up loving the day, meeting people from the other offices, seeing the new premises and generally getting excited about ‘moving in’ day in mid-August.  There’s even talk of a BPA choir forming, which would be amazing.”

Team member Monika Baj said, “I’m over the moon about our move to the new BPA office. More space, fab training rooms and a great opportunity to bond with our colleagues from the Exeter office; what else do we need to achieve success? This office will definitely help the company to grow further.”

Alex Bobba, managing director, BPA, UK, said: “As the world’s leading provider of customer experience quality monitoring services, BPA Quality prides itself on offering a first-class service to our clients and we are delighted that with these new offices,  we can now offer an equally impressive workplace to our staff, who are of course, so integral to the success of our business. “
