The inaugural edition of the US Customer Experience Awards, organised by Awards International, announced the winners for this year’s program. The first-ever edition of USCXA® brought together leading businesses from across US to share the most remarkable achievements in customer experience. Top companies and organisations participated in this premium program, competing for the most coveted accolades in customer experience. 

USCXATM ’22 Awards Finals and Ceremony were held live online on June 23 and 30, 2022, respectivelyThroughout the first day, the finalists presented their initiatives in front of the judging panel for each category. Afterwards, the judges scored them and submitted the results. On the day of the Ceremony, the winners of each category were announced by the Chair Judges. It was a successful year for the inaugural USCXATM, with 86 presentations and 55 judges in the finals across 20 categories.

The event and ceremony rundown

In the morning, attendees and finalists had the opportunity to tune in to CXCoffeeTM session. This was hosted by Gabe Smith, CCXP, Content Manager & Associate Director of CXPA, and his special guest, Michelle Batt, VP of CX Strategy & Growth at FreshForm. They discussed the state of customer experience, the importance of recognition at the awards, and gave an overview of the daily agenda. Right after that, the presentations started. Once the judges completed their scoring, it was time for the long-anticipated Awards Ceremony!

In the build-up to the Ceremony, the CXTrendTalksTM panel discussion focused on “CX in an economic downturn: threats and opportunities” with Mark Slatin, CCXP, CEO and Founder of EmpoweredCX. Mark was also joined by an esteemed panel of CX professionals. Later in the evening, Awards International’s COO, Ivana Kircanski, joined with a few words of welcome and encouragement for the Finalists. Alison Wallace from the charity partner, SOS Children’s Villages International, reminded the guests of how important it is to help vulnerable children worldwide and encouraged charity donations.

CCXPs Ian Golding and Annette Franz, skilfully navigated the guests throughout the event, making the guests feel relaxed and comfortable. They sat the stage for the Keynote Speaker of the day: Barbie Fink, CCXP. She delivered an intriguing speech on the topic of “Claiming your WHY for Customer Experience”.

Once all the winners had been announced, it was time for the most exciting moment of the entire program – announcing the OVERALL WINNER of the inaugural USCXATM, the company with the highest score across all categories. Awards International’s Founder and CEO, Neil Skehel, had the opportunity to announce the Overall Winner, CAE Canada Inc
