Solar Plants brought more than a ray of sunshine to the 2018 UK Customer Experience Awards – they brought an outline as to why they are one of the most customer-centric solar PV installers in the country.

The Welsh firm, based in Port Talbot, told judges about their approachable business model, that centres on taking a personal approach with customers. The presentation secured them a Gold victory in the Best Customer Centric Culture – Customer Satisfaction category.

Solar Plants also won the Bronze title in the Best Utilities category.

“As a family-run company, our business model centres on family values and a personal approach – from our culture through to our customer service,” a spokesperson said.
“However, while family and traditional values may often be associated with smaller businesses, we are proof that far from dampening profit, they drive innovation, customer advocacy, and accelerated growth.”
Solar Plants have enjoyed a year-on-year double-digit increase in turnover, and the spokesperson added: “Our overriding goal has been to drive sustainable growth by developing cutting-edge digital capability and innovative products, all underpinned by a family ethos and an unwavering commitment to putting the customer first.”
Meanwhile, the category’s Silver award went to The Holly Private Hospital, and Bronze was presented to IT consultants Littlefish.
